Fix that thing you have always wanted to!
Before we head off to enjoy the summer, join us for one last workshop!
Have a wobbly chair, a broken drawer, or an unfinished project waiting for attention? This is your chance to fix it, build it, or finally finish it. No previous experience is needed; just bring your ideas or your “broken” items, and let’s make something happen together.
Over two evenings at Buildher, we’ll create, repair, and build together. With guidance from the Buildher volunteer team, you’ll get hands-on practice with tools, materials, and skills that will help you extend the life of what you already own. By the end of the project, you’ll not only have repaired or built something useful, but you’ll also be part of a growing reuse community here in Trondheim.
Examples of types of things you can do:
Repair small furniture, household items
Build simple, practical projects (like shelves or planter boxes) using reclaimed materials.
Learn tool skills so that you can repair again in the future
We will learn together over two sessions.
17th June: Introduction & ideas: We’ll get to know each other, share what we want to repair or build, look at available materials, and get an introduction to the tools.
24th June: Build: Repair & Build! Hands-on time in the workshop. Since you repair or build what you like, there is no strict “step-by-step” instruction. However, the Buildher team will provide guidance and a helping hand. At the end, we will share a tea and a cozy cake to celebrate the end of the season.
Dates: Wednesdays 17th & 24th of June
Time: 17:15 - 19:45
